COMPANY PROFILE<\/h1><\/div>

Common Net is an Italian Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Cloud Service Provider (CSP).<\/strong> We design and manage end-to-end digital infrastructures<\/strong>: Wi-Fi and fibre optic connectivity, VoIP, and cloud services (IaaS\/SaaS) developed and run entirely in-house<\/strong>, with an approach built around business continuity, security and control.<\/p>\n

We work<\/strong> with businesses, public administrations<\/strong> and organisations that need a reliable digital foundation<\/strong>: stable connections, scalable cloud environments, backup and data protection, integrations<\/strong> and competent technical support.<\/p>\n

Every project starts by listening to the real context<\/strong> and translates into tailored solutions<\/strong>, with no “standard” packages, which more often than not reduce performance rather than improve it. 2016<\/h2><\/div>

In 2016, Common Net was born from the meeting of a group of engineers who, during their university years, shared not only studies and research, but also values and a vision.<\/strong> Ours is the story of people who chose to put their skills at the service of communities<\/strong>, turning academic knowledge into concrete solutions that improve everyday life.<\/p>\n

Our relationship with the academic world has remained active over time<\/strong>: collaborations, applied research, and ongoing dialogue with those experimenting<\/strong> with new architectures and standards. This lets us bring a more rigorous, forward-looking approach to our everyday work<\/strong>: analysis before decisions, clean design, solutions that hold up over time and evolve without unnecessary complexity. This is how we put innovation at the service of those who trust us<\/strong>: with solid, manageable infrastructures that are genuinely useful in the real world.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

2019<\/h2><\/div>

In our first three years, we built solid relationships with private customers, businesses and public administrations, listening<\/strong> carefully to their needs and responding with effective solutions. These relationships, founded on mutual trust,<\/strong> remain our most valuable asset today.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2019,<\/strong> thanks to a collaboration with business networks in the Lazio Region<\/strong>, we extended our infrastructure across the province of Rome<\/strong>, reaching territories that until then had been poorly served. Our network grew to embrace Riano, north of Rome, and the Prenestini and Lepini mountains to the south<\/strong>, bringing connectivity where there was none before.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In 2022 we took a further evolutionary step, becoming a fully fledged Cloud Service Provider (CSP)<\/strong> with the launch of our own proprietary cloud infrastructure built on CloudStack<\/strong>. This allows us to offer dedicated cloud computing solutions<\/strong> that fit perfectly with our philosophy of openness and sharing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

2024<\/h2><\/div>

In December 2024 we achieved ISO 9001 and ISO\/IEC 27001:2024 certification<\/strong>, with the related extensions<\/strong> ISO\/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO\/IEC 27018:2019, as well as the qualification of our IaaS infrastructure and services with ACN<\/strong> (the Italian National Cybersecurity Agency).<\/p>\n

Today Common Net is a recognised, accredited ISP operating across the whole of Italy,<\/strong> competing with the major operators while keeping the personal attention and direct customer relationships that set us apart.<\/p>\n

2025<\/h2><\/div>

From 2025 onwards<\/strong>, Common Net looks ahead with a clear direction: to keep innovating without losing what defines us. Direct control, technical responsibility, human relationships. We want to build genuine partnerships with professionals and organisations who think the way we do: competent, practical and demanding. People for whom “fine” isn’t enough and “good” still isn’t good enough. Because it’s at that level of care, the kind you only see when something truly matters, that infrastructures are built to last, evolve and create value over time.<\/p>\n<\/div>
