Common Net is an Italian Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Cloud Service Provider (CSP). We design and manage end-to-end digital infrastructures: Wi-Fi and fibre optic connectivity, VoIP, and cloud services (IaaS/SaaS) fully developed and managed in-house. Our approach is focused on operational continuity, security, and control.
We work with businesses, public administrations, and organisations that require a reliable digital foundation: stable connections, scalable cloud environments, data backup and protection, integrations, and competent technical support. Every project begins with understanding the real context and results in customised solutions, without “standard” packages that more often reduce performance rather than improve it.
Our mission remains the same: through continuous innovation, to create digital infrastructures that connect people—especially where others cannot reach—and to make technology usable, sustainable, and genuinely useful for those who need to use it every day: individuals, services, communities.

Common Net’s mission is to bridge the digital divide by developing technologically advanced telecommunications infrastructure accessible to all. We are passionately committed to reaching underserved communities where other providers do not operate, offering solutions that address the real needs of these areas.
At the same time, we support businesses in their digitalisation process with dedication and professionalism, providing specific and customised solutions for data transport and management. Our goal is not only to deliver technology but to build lasting relationships based on mutual trust and shared growth.
OUR HISTORY
2016
In 2016, Common Net was founded by a group of engineers who, during their university studies, shared not only academic work and research but also values and visions. Our story is one of individuals who chose to put their skills at the service of communities, transforming academic knowledge into practical solutions to improve everyday life. Our relationship with the academic world has remained active over time: collaborations, applied research, and ongoing dialogue with those experimenting with new architectures and standards. This enables us to bring a more rigorous and forward-looking approach to our daily work: analysis before decisions, clean design, solutions that endure over time and evolve without unnecessary complications. This is how we put innovation at the service of those who trust us; with solid, manageable infrastructures that are truly useful in real-world contexts.
2019
In the first three years of operation, we built strong relationships with private individuals, companies, and public administrations, listening carefully to their needs and responding with effective solutions. These relationships, based on mutual trust, remain our most valuable asset to this day.
In 2019, thanks to collaboration with several business networks in the Lazio Region, we expanded our infrastructure in the province of Rome, reaching areas that had previously been underserved. Our network grew to include Riano, north of Rome, and the Prenestini-Lepini Mountains to the south, bringing connectivity where there was none before.
2022
In 2022, we took a further evolutionary step by becoming a full-fledged CSP (Cloud Service Provider) through the development of a proprietary Cloud infrastructure based on CloudStack. This enables us to offer dedicated cloud computing solutions that perfectly align with our philosophy of openness and sharing.
2024
In December 2024, we obtained the ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001:2024 certifications, along with the related extensions ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO/IEC 27018:2019, as well as the qualification of our infrastructure and IaaS services by ACN (National Cybersecurity Agency).
Today, Common Net is a recognised and accredited ISP operating throughout Italy, competing with major operators while maintaining the personal attention and direct customer relationship that distinguish us.
2025
From 2025 onwards, Common Net looks ahead with a clear direction: to continue innovating without losing what defines us—direct control, technical responsibility, and human relationships. We aim to build genuine partnerships with professionals and organisations who think like us: competent, pragmatic, and demanding. People for whom “okay” is not enough and “good” is still insufficient. Because it is at that level of attention, visible only when something truly matters, that infrastructures are built to last, evolve, and create value over time.
